Welcome CTASLA Members and Guests! CTASLA is one of 48 chapters of ASLA throughout the United States and Canada whose purpose is the advancement of knowledge, education and skill in the art and science of Landscape Architecture as an instrument of service in the public welfare. We are continually updating our web site to be useful to our members and the general public.

CTASLA will be exhibiting works of landscape architecture at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford during the first two weeks of April.

In recognition of National Landscape Architecture Month, CTASLA will be exhibiting works of landscape architecture at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford during the first two weeks of April.

The display, in the corridor between the LOB and the State Capitol, will include the latest award-winning designs by Connecticut landscape architects, as well as boards that show the contributions that landscape architects make to the built environment and the stewardship of land.

There is no cost to visit the exhibit, and parking is free in the LOB garage.

Register Now for the 2008 Olmsted Day Conference

REGISTER NOW for the 2008 Olmsted Day Conference. “The Landscape as Art” forms the focus of the 2008 Olmsted Day Conference, to be held at the New Britain Museum of American Art on Friday, May 2nd.

Co-hosted by the CT Olmsted Heritage Alliance, CTASLA and the New Britain Museum of American Art (and sponsored by CTASLA and the CT Commission on Culture & Tourism), the day’s events include several presentations, lunch, a tour of neighboring Olmsted-designed Walnut Hill Park, and special treats (such as Frederick Law Olmsted birthday cake!)
