Rosalia Sanni Design is an award-winning landscape design studio based in Greenwich, CT, working on high-end residential projects throughout Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY. We are seeking a mid- to senior-level Landscape Architect / Designer with 5+ years of experience to join our studio in a full-time, in-person role.

 

Overview

This position serves as a designer and primary point of contact for high-end residential commissions. The role includes guiding projects from site analysis and concept design through permitting, construction documentation, and construction administration.

The position requires the ability to work independently to manage day-to-day project responsibilities, while collaborating closely with the Principal and other members of the RSD team, and coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.

 

Qualifications

  • Licensed Landscape Architect preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably with a focus on high-end residential work

  • Strong design sensibility paired with technical confidence, including knowledge of construction detailing and horticultural principles

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Photoshop and SketchUp

  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

Project Manager

Bethel, CT

The Town of Bethel is seeking a Project Manager to help advance the Public Works Department’s capital program. A motivated candidate with a background in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or Architecture is preferred. Transportation, Urban Design, Geographic Information Systems, or related degrees will also be considered. In this role you will collaborate with and manage design consultants, architects, engineers and contractors, review proposals to award bids, oversee design development, review and edit CAD files, and create plan sets for facilities such as pedestrian facilities, roads, public buildings and drainage projects. 

 

The ideal candidate for this position is hardworking, conscientious, very proficient in CAD drafting software, skilled at interpreting design documents and topographic/boundary maps, and an effective communicator with the ability to plan, organize and direct projects in a diverse range of infrastructure planning and engineering disciplines. A strong understanding of all aspects of the design process is required. Professional licensure in a relevant field desired. Knowledge of Complete Streets principles, Connecticut MS4 requirements, and GIS software preferred.
